Submitting and Managing Complaints

Our platform aims to make home and business owners more informed on local construction projects than ever before! To help with this, we have also implemented a complaint feature to eliminate long phone calls where information can't be fully conveyed. With this feature, you are able to pin point the location of the issue, add a photo, and write a description of what is happening. Your Municipality will then be able to review this information and correspond with you directly through the portal. 




To submit a complaint, navigate from the Home Screen of the portal to the upper right corner where you see your profile avatar and click "Submit Complaint". This will bring up a screen that matches the photo above. From here, fill out the information to the best of your ability. When selecting the address, input an address as close to the location as possible, this will help your Municipality pin point where the issue is to better help you. Next, upload a single picture that portrays what the issue is. You'll then be able to write a brief description of the issue. When you're done, click submit and wait for a response from your Municipality. 


To track a complaint, navigate from the Home Screen of the portal to the upper right corner where you see your profile avatar and click "All Complaints". This will bring up a screen that matches the photo below. You will then see a log of all your past complaints along with their status as either open or closed. From here, you can click "View" on the right hand side to bring up a messaging log. Alternatively, you can also click on the messaging icon on the upper right corner of the screen at any time to be taken directly to the complaints log.
